Manthokha Waterfall (Balti:منٹھق چھوپھیار) is a waterfall located in Kharmang Valley, Skardu, Gilgit-Baltistan, the extreme northern region of Pakistan. This waterfall is approx 180 feet high from ground, and located almost 80 kilometres (50 mi) away from downtown Skardu.

The waterfall is a mystic place featuring lush green pastures, fresh gurgling streams, towering rocky mountains of Karakorum and indigenously designed restaurants and much more. The main highlight of the restaurant is the local trout fish, apart from the waterfall another worthy feat is the fish farm where trout fishes are kept for the sightseers.

I was stunned to see this water fall. such a marvelous. I was feeling tired to approach there but when I saw this I felt myself in heaven. Lovely and remarkable no doubt

Having travelled around Europe and Niagra falls (haha) I would say this waterfall is quite small but for Pakistan it is quite big and really nice and pretty!
The water is icy cold so you can stand underneath but i'd rather not. Where the water hits the rocks you can see a continuous rainbow which is very cool. There is greenery around to sit under.
Remember to carry sunblock. We spent max 40mins here.
The bathrooms around are quite dirty.

One of the most enchanting & beautiful place in Skardu. Whatever time one spends here, would never be enough. A must visit attraction. A really wonderful & refreshing experience
